The short version
Vezvezak is a shopping assistant. To answer your questions it needs to know what you are looking for and roughly where you are. It is built so that it holds as little of that as possible.
- Your searches are not stored on our servers. They stay on your phone.
- Your precise location never leaves your phone. We round it to about 110 metres before sending anything.
- Your profile stays on your device, not on our servers.
- We show no ads and sell no data. Ever.

1. What we collect, and where it goes
On your device only — we never receive it
The following is stored on your phone and is not transmitted to us:
- Your profile: display name, first and last name, bio, photo, interests, links, birthday, city, country, phone, email
- Your recent searches and recently viewed items
- Your basket, favourites, and saved comparisons
- Your price watches and price history
- Your chat history with the assistant
- Cached search results
- Your plan, credit balance, and app settings
Deleting the app deletes all of it. We cannot recover it, because we never had it.
On our servers
When you create an account we store:

If you write a review, we store the review text, the language, and a hashed form of your IP address. The IP hash is used only to limit abuse and is never shown to anyone or returned by our systems.
Your email or phone number is never shown to other users, to merchants, or in any public part of Vezvezak. It is returned only to you, when you are signed in.
2. Location
Vezvezak can show shops near you. To do that it needs an approximate location.
- We ask your device for an approximate location, not GPS-grade precision.
- Before anything is sent, your phone rounds the coordinates to roughly 110 metres. Your exact position never leaves your device.
- That approximate location is passed to Google Places to find nearby shops.
- We do not store your location. Not on your device, not on our servers. It is used for the request and then it is gone.
You can refuse location access. The app still works; it will not show nearby shops.
3. Searches
When you search, the text of your search is sent to the services that find results for you — currently SerpApi (which returns online shopping results) and Google Places (which returns nearby shops).
- Your searches are not stored on our servers.
- Your recent searches are kept on your phone so you can return to them. You can clear them in Settings.
- Search text is not linked to your account on our side.
SerpApi and Google are independent companies with their own privacy practices. Their handling of the requests we send them is governed by their own policies:

4. Analytics
We collect a small amount of anonymous usage data to understand whether the app is working:
- Which language and script a search was in
- How many results were returned, and how many were uncertain
- Which engine produced an answer, and how confident it was
- When someone opened an evidence chain
- When someone followed a link to a shop
None of this includes your search text, your location, your account, or any identifier. There is no way to trace it back to you.
There is a switch in Settings to turn it off entirely.
We use no third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, or crash reporting services. No Google Analytics, no Facebook SDK, no ad networks.
5. Server logs
Our servers do not log your requests. Request logging on our proxy is disabled, and we have automated tests that fail our build if anyone re-enables it.
Requests may pass through Cloudflare, our infrastructure provider, which may retain limited technical metadata for a short period as part of operating their network. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
6. Artificial intelligence
Vezvezak's AI features are not yet active. No data is sent to any AI provider today — not to Anthropic, not to OpenAI, not to anyone.
When AI features launch, this policy will be updated before they are enabled, and we will tell you what changes.
7. Payments
Vezvezak processes no payments. There is no checkout, no wallet, and no card handling anywhere in the app. If you buy something you found through Vezvezak, you buy it from that shop, on their site, under their terms.
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple and Google. We never see your card details.
8. What we never do
- We never sell your personal data. There is no version of Vezvezak where this changes.
- We never show ads.
- We never sell placement in search results. What you see ranked first is ranked first because our system judged it best, not because anyone paid.
- We never share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
9. Your rights
You can, at any time:
- See your data — everything we hold about you is visible in the app
- Correct it — edit your profile in Settings
- Delete it — delete your account in Settings, which removes your reviews with it, or delete the app, which removes everything held on your device
- Turn off analytics — Settings
- Refuse location — the app works without it
- Take your data with you — email us and we will send you what we hold
If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and the CCPA — including the right to object, to restrict processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. We will honour these rights for everyone, wherever you live.
To exercise any of these, email privacy@vezvezak.com. We respond within 30 days.

11. Children
Vezvezak is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. If you believe a child has given us information, email privacy@vezvezak.com and we will delete it.
12. Security
- Passwords are hashed with PBKDF2-SHA256, 600,000 iterations, unique salt per account
- All traffic is encrypted in transit
- API keys are held server-side and never shipped in the app
- Our build fails automatically if a secret would be included
No system is perfectly secure. But most of what could be stolen from us does not exist, because we chose not to collect it.
13. International transfers
Vezvezak is operated from the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, the limited data described above is processed in the US and by our providers' global infrastructure, under standard contractual protections.
14. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. For anything material — particularly before AI features are enabled — we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
